Arriving in Vail in the summer of 1975 as a tennis professional with my collegiate coach from the University of California at Berkeley couldn't have been better planned. Skiing was my first love being a junior ski racer up through my freshmen year at the University of Utah, where an injury sidelined me from NCAA's championships and I decided to once again pursue tennis.

I began my career in real estate with Vail Associates in 1978, and in 1979 married my wife, Nancy, who was a ski instructor until we had the first of our four children in 1980. My eldest son, Kyle, has been a broker with me for the past five years.

I've had my own real estate company, and developed and managed multi-million dollar home projects. In 1999, I was offered a consulting opportunity at the Yellowstone Club in Montana where I commuted to for two years while still maintaining my business in Vail. In 2001, after two successful years of travel, I made a lifestyle decision to dedicate my time and efforts to my business and family in Vail.

My depth of knowledge of Vail's history, negotiating skills and integrity have allowed me to establish a strong background and be successful in selling and developing Vail's premier properties. I find it a very fulfilling to assist clients in finding that special mountain property so they, too, can enjoy what my family experiences here.

Having been fortunate enough to raise a family in this wonderful place, I contributed back to the community by volunteerting in youth athletic programs in my spare time. From coaching young ski racers to being appointed President of the local Junior Hockey Club for many years, I take pride in being part of my children's lives, as well as other young athletes' successes.

My wife and I, along with our four adult children, love the outdoors, have strong athletic backgrounds, and are avid skiers, snowboarders and golfers.
